As a child, Fuzuki Arai suffered from an unexplained leg illness, finding solace and escape in drawing. Miraculously, his legs healed as he continued to draw, sparking a profound interest in Shugendo. This ancient Japanese practice blends elements of Buddhism and Shinto, emphasizing ascetic training in nature to cultivate wisdom for a righteous life. In Shugendo, the conch horn is believed to dispel desires and ward off evil spirits. Its resonant sound, harmonizing with the natural world, evoked vivid images of light within Arai. All of Arai's paintings are inspired by the profound experience of the conch horn's sound. Each artwork reflects the profound truths he has discovered through his spiritual journey. Through his art, Arai seeks to connect with the souls of viewers, inviting them to share in the transformative power of his artistic vision. 新井文月 幼い頃、新井は原因不明の足の病気のため、１日中絵を描いて過ごしました。描き続けると、不思議なことに足は回復していきました。そこで精神と肉体は連動していることに気づき、それから修験道に興味を持ちます。修験道とは仏教（特に密教）、道教、神道などが習合して成立した日本独自の宗教です。特徴としては各地の霊山など大自然の中で滝行や瞑想をすることで、真理を学びます。 修験道には法螺貝を吹く修行があります。法螺貝の音は煩悩を消し去り、魔を退ける効果があるとされています。新井が実際に法螺貝を吹いてみると、その音は周囲との周波数を調和させ、光のイメージが浮かぶようになりました。 新井のペインティングは全て、そうした法螺貝の音に基づいたイメージがキャンバスに投影されています。また作品のタイトルは、その時に得た真理の言葉が反映されています。 --- これからの不透明な時代に対し、多様性を尊重し、違いを超えて、ともに生きることがますます求められる。（美術手帖 特集） 新井文月は特定の宗教の信者ではないが、エゴを抜くと空っぽの身体に上から何かが降ってくるという。それは宇宙から地球を見るような視点を得て、抽象的で光に満ちたものになっていった。（芸術新潮 特集） 新井先生の作品エネルギーは本当に素晴らしい。これまで観た芸術家の中で、誰よりも高い波動の値となっている。（国立情報学研究所 准教授）
